Home Care

Homecare female carer with elderly gentleman

Providing Outstanding Care

The Homecare Division of People Partners began in 2015 and has been continuously rated Outstanding by CQC since 2019 – something we are extremely proud of achieving.

With combined experience of over 50 years, People Partners is your first choice for compassionate care at home in Coventry and Warwickshire.

Home care, also known as domiciliary care, is a range of services that can be provided to you in your own home to support you with daily living tasks, to maintain or improve your quality of life.

Some people come to us at the very outset of their care journey, simply needing occasional support or companionship, whilst others may come to us with more complex or established needs, requiring assistance due to age, illness, disability, or recovery after a hospital stay – all have one thing in common, they prefer to remain in their familiar home environment rather than move to a care home.

We can provide as little as one hour a week all the way up to live-in care, depending on your needs.

How We Recruit Our Care Professionals

We use carefully worded adverts and word of mouth in order to reach the right people in the first place.

Initial applicants are thoroughly screened, many don’t make it past this first stage as we rule out anyone who doesn’t pass the “mum test” ie that we wouldn’t trust to look after our own loved ones.

The interview stage helps us understand their motives for wanting to join our team, as well as establish their competency and if they are the right personality type.

Detailed checks, which include multiple references and screening for criminal records, are carried out to ensure they are who they say they are, and to establish their credentials.

Initial and regular ongoing training is given, and our day to day support is second to none. We frequently check with our Care Professionals to make sure they have the support they need, and we regularly meet with clients to ensure we’re meeting their expectations.
